Currently there are 9 million shares outstanding. Add the 12 million new shares and you get 21 million total (even though some are preferred and restricted). 600 million dollars divided by 21 million shares is $28.57 in book value alone, not considering current assets and not considering any assets but the estimated oil reserves.

Did I do the math right?

Seems too good to be true. I called Irwin Booch and he told me that the guy wanted stock in a U.S. company, access to the U.S. markets and a partner to help him. I was told that they have been approached by others but that they liked LEAH and their contacts in RUSSIA and the new commonweath of independent states that were the former soviet union.

I was told that they would seek a pooling of interest accounting for the acquisition which could add $.15 per share to the next quarter for LEAH. Combine that with current levels of $.15-$.18 expected EPS for the 09/30 quarter and you have a company operating at better than a $1.00 per share for the year ending 12/31/98 !!!!!!!!!!

I do not have any concrete information or fiancials to back up these numbers so please do you own DD. Personally speaking, I bought more today.
