That's a difficult question Gerald but I'll try. Remember that this is only my opinion:

FRIGC: Mobile market is by and large a goner. IMG will make some sales to this market but not the huge windfall everyone thought in the beginning. I think a better opportunity exists with stationary market i.e. subcoolers, chillers, etc. and with the foam insulation market.

Superconductivity markets: I think this has a shot at being a very large opportunity. However it is probably 3-5 years away at least. Electric utility applications will be slow in coming but when they do come they will be huge.

MRI- Lots of competition in the medical field. The MAI acquisition may breath some life into this product line. IMiG-MRI could become a winner but I don't know enough about the market. Same thing with food inspection. I can see where there could be a big opportunity with this.

Kryotech-Another potentially large market but a dangerous market as well. Technology that is hot this week might be worthless junk by next month.

Summary: I think IMG is a company with A LOT of potential. Can it realize this potential ? I'm not sure. There seems to be a serious problem in moving products from the lab to the marketplace. Could be that they are too small or just lack the marketing expertise necessary or both. In any case, a big move in this stock is 3 - 5 years away.

I'm also worried about the capitalization of the company. To mount the kinds of manufacturing and marketing programs needed to bring this diverse array of products to market will take a larger capital structure than they currently have. I'm not sure I agree with the plan to buy another million shares off the market. Couldn't this money be better used to bring this vast array of products to market ?
If the management at IMG wants the stock price to go up, then all they have to do is increase earnings. I know that sounds really simplistic but in the long run, earnings are what drive the price of the stock. When and if IMG starts showing sequential and year over year increases in EPS, the stock price will take care of itself. Until they can prove, through increasing earnings, that they are as good as they think they are, Wall Street will continue to be skeptical. Sorry the reply is so long.
