Nimbus, once owned by Robert Maxwell, has the capacity to produce 28 million DVDs a year and Technicolor recently announced the trebling of its DVD capacity to 15 million units a year. Their combined capacity will propel Carlton to the forefront of global DVD production to build on its current market leadership in videocassettes.
