I am sure you have read FCC chairman's statement in regard to Bell Atlantic, US West and GTE plans to build long distance data networks in their regions as "unwise and premature" in light of the fact that they are not allowed to do that as of yet. And I suspect they will not be allowed to do that for at least the rest of 1998. Maybe this is one of the reasons why all ADSL related companies are sliding.

If in response to regulatory pressure BEL will delay their whole data network build up then WSTL and DIGI will definetly be loosers.

If on the other hand they will proceed with CO deployments and if they will subcontruct ISPs to do long distance data transfer then WSTL might have a chance. This is just MHO.
