While TomC was busily figuring out how to use the restroom facilities, jhild (aka Daddy Mensa) surreptitiously entered through the living room window. "Perhaps I can rig this place to my own benefit before Muffy, that little ungrateful wench, shows up here", thought jhild.
The apartment landlord became aware of strange noises in Muffy's apartment, which had been maintained over the years by the ever-sentimental jhild, hoping against hope that his relationship with Muffy could be renewed. The landlord knocked on the door.
jhild, startled by this turn of events, froze.
No, I mean he literally froze. He had climbed into the freezer compartment of the refrigerator to avoid detection.
No answer from the apartment, and since the strange noises stopped emanating from inside, the landlord went merrily on his way.
Commander TomC, finished with his sanitary duties, decided to fix himself a glass of iced tea. He opened the freezer for some ice cubes (No, not "ice cube", the SI personality!), jhild fell out onto the floor with a loud THUMP! TomC stared at the frozen body. "What the heck?", he thought, as he pulled his Constant Velocity Stinger from his utility belt, pointed it at the frozen lump, and pulled the trigger.
