SS,

Actually I'm a non-smoker and I don't own any tobacco
stocks. I'm just against anymore ridiculous taxes.

If the government was really concerned about teenagers,
then they should be taxing the alcohol industry
out of business. Plenty of people die from alcohol.

A lot of the teens that smoke will not live long enough
to get cancer because they will die from alcohol.
One of the leading killers of people under 30 is booze.

And then there's the fatty foods industry. Plenty of
people die from heart disease from eating fatty foods.
Should we tax the crap out it to discourage people
from eating too much of it?

And then where do we stop? People have to be given
these choices to make for themselves.

Besides, one thing the government is not telling
anybody is the fact that millions of people have quit
smoking. There are currently more ex-smokers than
current smokers. People are quitting every day.

The media and the government are brainwashing people
into believing it's impossible to stop smoking.

Statistics prove otherwise.
