It wouldn't surprise me one bit to find that PW is accumulating VVUS for their house account. I recently received a recommendation regarding ALK, passed, and then watched the stock. Dropped from 61.00 to about 53.00. Hasn't been back to 61.00 yet. Anyway, I sometimes get the impression that the brokerages buy the stock, wait for it to run up (if it does,) and then call the likes of yours truly and want to sell me some. Over the past 15 - 20 years I've seen what appears to be a lot of this kind of stuff. Probably just a coincidence. Regards.
