Why would Falconbridge expand a programe on those results? If this active horizon they talk about is so significant where is a drill intersection that indicates an orebody? 1500 meter anomalies and they are not drilling till month end? Mr Taylor I hope you are not another "Canadian Mining PROMOTER that is trying to promote your stock so you can vacation permanently in the "Islands". I hope that you take the time to respond. NAR is not calling the shots out there: Falconbridge is the operator. It's Falco doing the drilling, writing the reports, sending out core for assay, doing everything methodically, and only publishing results when they're absolutely sure of their veracity. Falconbridge has decided to expand the program a further 20,000m. NAR decided, based on the very encouraging results published yesterday, to keep funding the project.
Those results are unique in that they prove the existence of a VERY large system (now a minimum 10km long) that has VERY high Copper and Zinc values in holes drilled to date. This could mean that the area can be considered a "Camp"; ie. like the Noranda, Geco or Timmins Camps, where several Cu-Zn-Ag producers are found, but with one giant deposit among them. Imagine stumbling into Noranda, Geco or Timmins before anyone else, and being able to own the entire Camp?! Falconbridge didn't stumble onto the Maramba Project, but actually picked it due to the special chemistry of its volcanic rocks.
