Back in TED's office...
Suddenly, the doors flew open. "No way. Can't be," TED thought incredulously, "It's the infamous Davhite and Rhodser. They've joined forces! Why, the two of them might very well surpass even FBN when it comes to impacting America's productivity!"
"Come with us, you two," beckoned Davhite.
"What are you going to do to us?" a frightened Muffy asked.
"Everything you need to know is on our websites," the two said in unison.
But TED knew what was in store for them. He knew those two weren't making sawdust from wood. He leaned over to Muffy and told her to grab him. "No, I mean my hand," he said unclenching her fingers.
TED surreptitiously pressed the call button behind his desk. That was Alice's cue to get those pesky copier salesmen out of his office. "Free ring dings in the cafeteria," Alice said startling the two intruders.
With one deft motion, TED jumped out his office penthouse window with Muffy in tow and onto the ledge. He grabbed the rope normally used by the window washers and lowered the two of the them onto his awaiting Harley and sped off. By now Davhite and Rhondser were in hot pursuit.
TED and Muffy zigged and zagged down the picturesque Sedona streets. Normally the route he was on would be clear, but today was the annual Sedona Bazaar, and food carts and souvenir stands were in abundance. His pursuers were right behind him now!
"Hold on tight, Muffy," he said eyeing a couple of boards leaning on a fruit cart. "No, not there," he said with a sense of deja vu.
TED floored it right up the board and over the cart as the evil duo crashed into it exploding melons in all directions. But they were still in pursuit.
Around the corner they flew, and into the parking lot of the Sedona Mall. "Can't stop now," TED told himself as he pointed for the service entrance.
But he couldn't shake Davhite and Rhondsor. He was approaching the entrance to the largest concourse. He had no choice; he had to chance driving inside. With a last burst of speed, he flew into the crowds, his potential killers still right behind.
