Yes and no. If things happen like the Rareness wishes, like China falling apart and being removed from the map, then that would be a bad move.<ggg> Odds are China won't devalue, since they already scared the hell outta the USA with just one comment hinting that they might have to since Uncle Sam wasn't helping the situation and is part to blame for this whole mess. Instantly, the Fed moved. (How many nukes do they have pointed at North America??) So, they too are hesitant just like the rest to take the plunge when things are not stable. My biggest fear is Japanese Banks starting a snow ball down the hill around the world...if that happens in won't matter much what stocks you own they'll all get a whoopin.

Spending reserves now might also cost them an opp to purchase some smaller niche for their systems biz or chip function to integrate.

Watch the convt. bonds.... buying them back in the open market would kill two birds with one stone and signal they have faith. Well,.. actually three birds,,.. counting the Rare one.<lol>
