Instantly, the Fed moved. (How many nukes do they have pointed at North America??) So, they too are hesitant just like the rest to take the plunge when things are not stable. My biggest fear is Japanese Banks starting a snow ball down the hill around the world...if that happens in won't matter much what stocks you own they'll all get a whoopin. Spending reserves now might also cost them an opp to purchase some smaller niche for their systems biz or chip function to integrate. >>What's it going to take? Watch the convt. bonds.... buying them back in the open market would kill two birds with one stone and signal they have faith. Well,.. actually three birds,,.. counting the Rare one.<lol>
