Ok Pierre - my chin is up - my big question now is how good is the i740? Intel sure has made a lot of noise about this part. Anybody seen what it looks like in action? Does it even come close to the VooDoo 2? How will it compare to Banshee?

One of my big reasons for investing in TDFX is the following line of thought: That most people will get more out of a new PC with a PII at 300Mhz and a VooDoo 2 based card in it than they would get out of a new PC with a PII at 400Mhz that didn't have a VooDoo card in it. The fundamental idea behind this train of thought is that Intel loses sales of high end (read high profit) CPU's to sales of TDFX accelerators. This translates to lots of sales of parts for TDFX.

I haven't reached my tolerance point (as far as taking potential losses) quite yet, but I am getting near enough to feel rather concerned. That is why if I am going to buy any more (to bring down my average price per share) I sure would like to buy them as close to the bottom as I can. I just can't decide if this stock has hit bottom yet.

Regards.

P.S. I tend to use rather visual comments on my postings in order to communicate what I am feeling at the time. That doesn't mean that I am giving up, it just means that I am a little stressed out.

P.P.S. Stop watching the market for a few days? And miss out on all of this fun? Are you crazy? I'm much too much of a news / adrenaline junkie to let this roller coaster ride go.
