I studied under a very prominent Italian pathologist. We were at the multi-headed microscope one day reveiwing slides....he made a commentary along the lines of what you said, first-off though, he was quite the opposite of your Dr. 'Psyco', This guy used to say that a 'good' pathologist should be able to do an autopsy in a tuxedo. This guy was also a chef, he had quite a protruding belly. The rest of us would be in full scrubs, double-gloved, practicing 'universal precations', while the 'great one' would only have a tiny plastic apron clinging to his protruding belly! Such a sight, he would perform the autopsy like a chef over the makings for a meal...
Anyways...we were around the microscope and he informed us ....that 'man' was at one time barefoot , and in being so would pick up tiny cuts and lacerations on the bottom of their feet. The latent function of this was that early man had a very strong immune system. Now, with universal precautions and all, Man's immune system, in his opinion, had gotten very week. He chose to perform posts and all gross pathology without gloves, mask, etc. !
I guess its' just 'old school' philiosophy, I'd be curious to know if your 'Dr. Psyco' was European and how old he was.
I have faith in TVSI, I hope we get a release with some substance sometime very soon, I'm long TVSI and find some comfort in the fact that the SEC is looking closer at manipulation in the TVSI market.
