Hiya FrankK.!! Actually, I believe (to the best of my honeycombed cerebral hemispheres), K-6 was the only official Ashton kimberlite to reportedly carry a primo, coloured stone (fancy Canary, yet still unofficially valued).

However, this comment was made by Ashton re. K-14 (NR - Nov.11/97):
ashton.net.au

"...The five largest stones recovered weigh 0.60, 0.30, 0.28, 0.21 and 0.18 carats. Many of the diamonds are colourless, and there are some coloured stones as well. The sample size is too small however, to make any definitive comment on quality. There is some evidence of breakage of stones resulting from the drilling process, although the larger stones noted are whole."

Anyone else know of others? -- I'm likely shy on my info here.

It is my impression that the fancies have thus far been kept clandestine by Ashton.
Then there's the GQ. Is that Gentleman Quarterly? _ No!!
In fact, it's Gem Quality!

Significant, . . _ _ _ . . imo

PS - also, other coloured diamonds have been found in the region, ie, by Chuck Fipke (to the WSW), and others ... mas info anyone?
