Very light trading today. I was again disappointed that the Investors Business Daily didn't have an update on earnings in today's paper. I Emailed them a note and received the following:

I am aware of the problem's persistence. The Research department was
notified on 11/21 and I have followed up with a call to inquire about the delayed response. This problem is currently on our problem board and is awaiting attention from Research. I expect them to take care of it in the next five business days but you are welcome to e-mail your phone number if you'd like to be called about delays beyond that time. On behalf of Research, I apologize for the inconvenience.

I received a Research Report dated November 6 from Rodman & Renshaw which gives financials and estimates for all of the companies they follow. The CWEI news was very old news and I would assume that the updated CWEI information would be contained in the December issue which I have also asked to be mailed to me.

Good News we should soon see:
1) update of the annual earnings in the IBD (12-03-96)
2) release of new earnings estimates from at least Rodman, Renshaw
and probably Hanifen, Imhoff (12-06-96)
3) update of Zack's and First Call (??)
4) another update in the IBD (??)
5) hopefully recommendations from other newsletters, brokers.
