as it is so similar to what I have been through. I have never read Bunyan but will soon rectify this deficit in my learning!
I like the water analogy also, very much and found the reference of Holy Spirit and the soul of God most intriguing, I will have to follow that trail into the scriptures. But, I am off to a work stretch and I have a conference also, so my posts will be even fewer for nearly a week.

To All:
In short, I want to thank everyone for their kind and gracious replies. I was expecting to be whipped tarred and feathered and sent out of town on a rail. The fact that it was otherwise speaks well to your caring hearts.

PS, I have a friend whose name is Ernie. He is 40, and an admirable person and excellent character. A bit hard to talk to about the faith, he listens but says little. He has Unknown Primary cancer, where it is spread to many organs but no main source is known. It was a surprise as he was in good health and even now has few symptoms though the prognosis is terminal.
Please pray for him for healing and myself as I share the Word with him.
