Roy,

<< Grew up in Wisconsin (UW Madison Grad), went to Catholic MONESTARY school, and as always I will contend morales is when you start using your name in lieu of an alias. >>

I was off base. I apologize. I have no excuses.

About aliases. Once again, my name is Robert. I sent you an e-mail with a LOT of Fibre Channel questions on it way back on December 20th of last year with my name on it (still have it on my netscape). You never replied. Perhaps, I am subconsciously bitter about that. ;-)

<< Very gauche on your part....tsk tsk (not very catholic of you either I might add) >>

Very good word, Roy. Gauche. Yes, it was gauche, and again, I apologize. I'm glad you have a sense of humor. I was hoping you would. And, I'm not catholic, so i don't care that much about not being catholic. ;-)

It has been frustrating waiting for the Fibre Channel world to slowly come together. I imagine way more crazy days are ahead.

Wondered who was doing such a great job at Brocade? Seems these venture cap guys should be called "the vulture caps". ;-)

With Brocade secured with SQNT, SUNW, and IBM (I assume) so far, your investment in Brocade's IPO is guaranteed to do well for you. Perhaps, now you can offer some decent opinions on what ancor is doing wrong so far? Why do You still think they are so cheap here, if you have money in brocade? I am not trying to be sarcastic at all (as you know, i usually am), but am rather serious.

For a Wisconsin guy from Mad Town (believe me, Ive had a lot of great times on State Street), do you believe you can go back to your roots and give some more opinions (even the harshest) on what some of the decent people from the Minnesota company could do to shape up their act on the Gorilla before the game gets in full gear (ie. when FC takes off early next year)?

I am a little miffed that brocade might be able to win oems with total arch enemies. I mean, what sort of genius salesguy do they have over there?

Another question, if brocade is pulling in over 100 million within two years (I believe this is VERY doable), the only other way to play this field (assuming other big fellows seeing the tremendous growth rate and therefor want/need to play in the game) is to go Vixel or Ancor currently. Do you think Brocade will be picked up before they go public?

Roy, i may sound like a jerk sometimes toward you because you originally came on this thread saying you are from brocade and all most knew here about brocade was adam rapport's rumor spreading and lie tossing. i don't know you at all, but i hope you don't take me too seriously when i get frustrated. i apologize for lopping you in with ar or bruce, because it is true you have been decent to people here on the thread.

as you know, most people that are long ancor would most likely be playing vixel and brocade and even G2 if it were possible.

all imho
