Interesting trade on the options front. 140 July 30 calls crossed at the ask. Unfortunately got on too late to see if it was an opening or closing transaction. The CBOE site apparently had already updated the open interest.
So either of the following:
Opening transaction - probably shorts buying some protection, although the premium would put them in a loss for most of their short position ($30 +2=32. highest possible short at 33).

Closing transaction - Since it crossed at the ask I'm assuming that someone had to buy the options back in because they are scared of thqi going much higher.

Anyone else out there keeping track of the options activity, and can tell us if the 140 contracts were opened or closed?
