William, what you are missing is the competition from the big media giants is heating up. DIS now is a major portal player buying SEEK,and offloading it to a separate company for about $8/share,like TCI spinning off ATHM.
Now the problem is YHOO is now no longer at the top, does not produce its own content like DIS,and cannot really compete with DIS.
NBC now owns Snap, and part of CNET,which produces its own content also. How can YHOO really stand the heat? Their asses are getting burned now,the only thing YHOO has going for it is everyone loves their name. The pressure will crush them into internet dust, and poof blow away.
Not short, don't own any stocks anymore but one.
