Ben Re "That is a lot different than a 'full access free internet connection'" Thanks for the clarification. Some opinions I would like to hear your comments on: 1. The killer application is the Internet. Voice recognition etc. is never going to be a killer app. 2. IBM is a box maker with a global internet service. It is strong in Java. It has rights to the AMD chip(?). Mainframes are probably the best web servers (I'm not sure if web server software is available for mainframes though). All the above make IBM poised very well for the Internet. 3. If they decides to throw in a free internet connection with every box that could sew up the consumer market. 4. If they succeed in removing their image as a high cost supplier they could gain on the commercial side of the PC business too. Does this make sense and is IBM therefore worth buying? I'd appreciate any comments you have. Best Regards
