If you file Chapter 11, is there any direct result on the stock other than the price drop due to the negative publicity and financial condition? Does it lose it's value automatically because of the filing or just the perception of the bankruptcy hammer the stock price?

I was never involved in a company that this happen to ... Steve

PS- @.50 - .75 cents, after a Chapter 11 filing, I will pick up a lot of shares. I know, as miraculous as it might have to be, I think BOST could turnaround. It will take a tremendous overhaul of the chain and some true, good management. Something BOST never had! But there is an underlying product concept and some name recognition to work with.....
