THC,
After maybe the biggest move in Yen history, the bullish consensus went to a whopping 15 % yesterday. This is mind boggling as a number like that is normally a raging buy signal. I repeat the comments I made yesterday. The big boys are caught going the wrong way, are publicly talking their trades ( short yen, gold, commodities, and long bonds ) and behind the scenes, figuring a way to get out.
Rubin's loss of clout is a shock. Goldman Sachs top guys felt very strongly this would not happen. The big boy community is very tight, so the word is out there that the game has changed. Strategy sessions are going on everywhere.
Our day is here. The kharma for gold has changed.
Bill
