NTI's Special General Meeting
CALGARY, ALBERTA--NTI Resources Limited ("the Company"), announced
today that on November 25, 1996, a Special General Meeting of the
shareholders of NTI Resources Limited took place at the auditorium
of Bankers' Hall, 855-2nd St. S.W., Calgary, Alberta.
The meeting was called by Pacific Communications Limited pursuant
to a requisition dated September 3, 1996 and made in accordance
with the provisions of Section 74 of Bermuda's Companies Act,
1981. The purpose of the meeting, as stated in requisition, was
to remove Mr. Wong Chin Yong and Mr. Christopher George Edward
Nightingale as directors of NTI Resources Limited, and to select
Mr. Keim Lay Thio as a director of NTI Resources Limited.
Prior to the holding of the meeting, on November 20, 1996, Mr.
Nightingale resigned as a director of NTI Resources Limited and
was, pursuant to a decision by the Board, replaced by Mr. Thio.
At the meeting it was duly resolved that Mr. Wong be removed as a
director and it was confirmed that Mr. Thio be elected as a
director of NTI Resources Limited. |
