jhild: Hold on to your horses. I already said it had nothing to do with ICQ. It is a 98 problem with some PC's like mine. See exchange2000.com .I can tell you one thing more though about my experience. ICQ did freeze up and would not close without doing a ctl-alt-delete while IE would close out OK. Still, it did not make a difference closing either because the only way to connect to any site was to reboot. No hard crashes though with 98 so it is more crash proof. 98 is faster too.
