(NASDAQ Small Cap:HERC - news) Thursday announced the closing of a second private equity placement of 1,620,000 shares of unregistered common stock of the company for $502,200. The placement was priced at $0.31 per share. The funds will be used for general corporate purposes and expansion of the company's marine and fire protection businesses. H.E.R.C.
