Who will buy NOVL for $3.8 billion is the concern among analysts ? I think there are enough companies out there with this kind of money to burn. Cheyenne Software was recently bought for $1 billion and their revenue is no where near that of NOVL.

The problem is that $3.8 billion represents about $11/share. Not much premium from todays close. In fact, it could be a loss. How much is NOVL worth ?

At $10/share ........ $3.2 billion
At $15/share ........ $4.8 billion
At $20/share ........ $6.4 billion

NOVL sells for $12 1/2 - $15/share although Merryl Lynch broker estimates $15 - $18/share.

Of course NOVL would like to remain independent. Who else would want to keep their current board of directors and pay them rich fees ?
NOVL is SOLD in my opinion.....it is only a matter of time.
