briank, IMO , I see this as a good sign for 3Com that it only has given up a fraction of it's weeks runup due to merger mania. As a shareholder and vendor of 3Com, I'd much rather them run up due to more fundamental based actions such as earnings, technology gains, etc. Next week should set the tone for 3com over the next quarter. I'm bullish on their report based on solely the reports that they have turned the corner on the inventory and distribution problems that plagued them over the last 2 quarters. Whether 3com ends that day above 27 is yet to be seen and at least lately, late afternoon rally's and sell offs offset most earlier losses or gains. Good luck to us all.
