Wow. People actually read this stuff! I got an email from someone claiming to be a portfolio manager in Chicago that contained the following:
=================== "We had a 30 mins discussion with David (CFO) from TDFX and we were again re-assured that everything is on target. We had quite extensive discussion about MONT announcement and MONT stock manipulation that started late Monday, long before an anointment hit the street. David re-iterated again that he was not aware of anything before 6.00 PM Wednesday, when he received a call from John.
David also mentioned that there will be a board meeting, early next week where they will be deciding on re-purchasing their shares at current price level. We have much more information about this company product line, as software and hardware integrators, than your average participants on the SI BB.
We also planning to contact some of our friends in (CBOE) to find out if there are enough grounds to start investigation in MONT insider trading or stock manipulation practices on this stock." =================
Now, normally I'd go "Yeah, yeah - I don't know you from a spam machine" but he did include his name and contact information (which I'm following up on). Right now, I _think_ it is legit, but I can't be sure. I'm passing it along "For What It's Worth." If it is legit, then I'm very grateful to the person who sent it.
