Here are the specifics as well as I can remember
Sand has @ 45 people ,going to need @ 100.
Two big events or shows in July, one in NY and one in England, Inman in Ny and Hds/While(sp) in England. I think big things are expected in Europe. While people currently meeting with Sand folks both in Ca. and Canada.
NT version in Beta test, out end of month with 95 version within a month. NT is the biggie.
The well known techie groups are very impressed with the products.
Fis 99 expected to be the best year in history which would be $.50 + a share
32 bit version in surprisingly effective which is great.
Sales problem is that everyone else says they have something similar coming out whether they do or not. Microsoft has something coming out in the future, just what is not known. None that they have seen have the real savings in hardware which Sand offers and which makes it so cost effective in big networks.
Many ways to go, limited by people and $$, but implies tremendous savings for big users and great benefits.
Will be hiring people who will make more than he does, good marketing folks in 40s/50s.
All in all, very upbeat and positive if you are looking for reasonable progress and understand the business. Just a personal view but shared by others. The next calendar year will be very exciting. HDS is getting its act in gear. While(sp) currently using the system itself.
