The following is just my opinion:

CAWS has the rights to a technology that provides lots of bandwidth. Bandwidth is to the telecommunications world, what an oil pipeline is to oil refiners...
The rapid growth of the internet is overwhelming the telcos. The telcos need bandwidth. Key here is the word, "rapid", internet usage is growing exponentially. As mentioned previously, it would be good for CAWS to refocus their efforts.
CAWS has the capacity, and provided the business is run properly it has the potential to succeed. Wireless cable can meet the bandwidth needs of telcos right now without the cost of burying cable-fiber or otherwise-that's what is important. It's not a dead technology as long as there is a need for bandwidth. IMHO
