The PAIR "story" remains unchanged. Many 1000's of miles of copper wire is already installed, in the U.S. and abroad. There is only one cost efficient way for the telcos to make the necessary increases in the bandwidth of their local loop ("the last mile") -- and it's not to tear the copper out of the ground and replace it with something else.

PAIR remains the leading (and by the way, the money-making) solution provider for what to do with already installed twisted pairs of copper wire. Others may have more elegant solutions on the drawing board or in field testing. PAIR is providing scalable (and profitable) solutions now.

As for the competitive threat form cable, that's the telco's headache. The faster cable-internet rolls out, the faster the telcos have to act to meet it.

And, how many companies that already have copper wire running up to every desktop are planning on providing every employee with free cable tv access, if they can get hi-speed data access from the copper wire that is already there?

GO PAIR --!!!!:>
