Jon, thanks. And I *know* you will. Take Paul's also because IMO he summarized it more eloquently than I did. Especially, the part about people outside of NOVELL knowing what it is to go against the MSFT
marketing machine.

I want to add one more thing. I don't, repeat, don't have anything against Joe Marengi. I "know" he is busting his b*lls (and Novell employees too). If he can pull this off, then I will be AMAZED (and I don't mean that in the degrogatory sense).

Personally, I don't know WHO could pull it off, short of someone from MSFT defecting and taking the job. The ONLY one I could see right now to be able to cause a stir in the industry, would be Lou Gerstner. And, I gotta tell ya', he ain't done with IBM yet. I know <smile>.

So, as much as I've been harping on Marengi it is more out of frustration than anything else. Because as Paul says, when you are dealing with MSFT, you better have a LOT of hole cards stacked up, because like it or not, they will eat you for lunch.

Aside from everything else, this is sure an interesting company to follow, let alone be invested in <VBG>.

Regards,

Joe...
