AirWorks Advises of Interim Cease Trade
and
Pursuit of Settlement Possibilities in the Goede Litigation
EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA, June 18, 1998 -- AirWorks Media Incorporated (AirWorks) advises that the Alberta Securities Commission has issued an interim cease trade of AirWorks' shares pending receipt of December 31, 1997 audited financial statements. AirWorks anticipates to have the statements filed before the end of June, after which the order should be lifted. Unaudited March 31, 1998 financial statements have been filed with both the Alberta Securities Commission and the Alberta Stock Exchange.
In other matters, Cheryl Knebel, Chairman and CEO of AirWorks, advises that with respect to the Goede litigation, the parties have agreed to adjourn pending court applications so as to pursue settlement possibilities.
