Jim, NO! NO! NO! Here is why ASP is Important.ASP declines indicate that the strength of the PC market is weakening. That weakness could leat to the Unit sales growth hickup. As the feminists say, you just don't get it! Reread Geoff Nunn's excellent posts on this subject. Alternatively, crack open your econ 101 text and read about supply and demand and profit maximization. You and I agree that it won't take much to upset the apple cart. Where we disagree is when it will happen and also on how the market should price in the risk that it will happen sooner than later. Jim, this statement could be said about any growth stock at any time. In fact, identical statements have been made concerning Dell over the past several years. They are as true now as they were two years ago. But so what? TTFN, CTC
