Hi Charles; I'ce been trying to answer a few letters all day, but South Miami had a cable problem and though I could login to Internet, I couldn't go anywhere. First time that's ever happened, but apparently we are in good shape now. I hope this E-mail gets out to you allright.
Well I think you've made a good choice with ASI. I too have watched this company for a good while. They are really a dynamic company with ambitious growth plans. I don't think you can loose with that one, unless we have a general market pullback. I don't see that happening in the near term, but I'm not all that confident a few months out. Basically I am practically all invested in five different REITS. I may have taken this defensive posture a bit early, but the dividends are great and the growth potential was something I hadn't expected to be as good as it has been. Eastgroup has added a couple more points since I last wrote to you. My only speculation at the moment is Curtis Mathes which will probably come into it's own about early '97. If I get out of that,I like ASI, and also SEW (Singer) and also NZYM which has great potential for good growth. I thought your TYCO was starting to go, but it seems to have backed off. Oh well, sometimes a little patience is necessary. How do you feel about the market in general?

Greg
