Kendell,

The price for Natural Gas sounds right. NYMEX has the January Natural Gas as 3.497 -.09 which makes 3.81 right on the money--the 3.81 agrees with this morning's paper which says Natural Gas was 3.90 yesterday, so -.09 makes it 3.81 today. This morning's paper has the Spot price for WTI at 23.63 yesterday, and so +0.13 would make it just about 23.76, which is close to your number. NYMEX has the January futures price for crude as 23.75 +0.13, but the NYMEX saying that is a January price has me confused. That is the number they use in the IBD graph also and the graph is January futures. Spot prices are always 0.30 more than futures. Don't quite understand it yet, unless what they are saying is: the price today is the same as the price in January, no difference.
