From MS Investor (http://investor.msn.com/prospect/articles/jubak/696.asp):

" I'm surprised to see this stock on this list too. Not because Qwest isn't a technology stock -- what this phone company is selling is a state-of-the-art fiber-optic network. That high-speed, high-bandwidth pipeline makes Qwest ideally suited to the change in telephony from voice to data transmission. But I hadn't noticed that the stock had tumbled so far from its high. The retreat is an inevitable part of the company's transition from being a great idea to being a company that has to actually sign up customers in the rough-and-tumble telecom market. The stock has such a limited history -- the company only went public last summer -- that it's hard to gauge an entry price, especially since the recent price decline has nothing to do with worries about Asia or the effect of a strong dollar on earnings. Looking at the Qwest chart, there seems to be some support at $25, which is where I'd be a buyer."
