Rubin has reversed himself on Yen intervention, thereby creating the first chink in the world wide ( at least outside Europe ) public perception that the Dollar is the only place to go to escape currency and market chaos. Now, Congress is being urged to mass MFN for China, or else! China will devalue when it suits them. In the meantime, they have the US Administration on a string, especially with Clinton due to show up in Beijing next week.>>> russell
