ALL : need an opinion on gift giving ...which company dell,msft ,csco? i would like to give a gift of 10k worth of one of the above to a graduate (step son). He is not likely to follow or do any home work on the company he holds. which would be the safest company that could go on a cruise control? i asked for his choice and he chose dell. i since did a 100 day, 100 wk, 100 mo chart of the three and dell was a winner in all 3 charts. but as a responisble adult, i have to decide which is the best for a person who is not going to watch the stock for many years. thx. graduation party is tomorrow evening. will appriciate an answer before 4pm tomorrow. p.s. each of them has substainal tax penlty for selling so he is likely to hold ( ha ha ha) and not buy a vacation with it.
