Re: If you thought you could get 30% more by year end (even 20% more) you would hold out.

My, you think in very simplistic terms. Can you think of any
way these folks might put some cash to use? Have you seen the
RE prices in Austin lately? There is a nice little
estate for 4.9M advertised in this month's Pinnacle magazine.
Small technology companies are even more expensive. These guys
are "ultra wealthy" and have ambitions that must be fueled.

But there is a "limit" to how much selling we can accept

Again, how do you know what a lot of selling is? You don't even
know what percentage of their holdings have been sold so how
would you know when to be alarmed? If told you that I sold
3,000 shares last month, would that signify to you my lack of faith
in the future growth prospects of the company? You wouldn't have
a clue because you don't know how many shares I control or what
I might be using the cash for.

Last time I checked, businesses in Austin still have a policy
of "not accepting Dell stock in lieu cash". Let's see, a really
choice Westlake Estate with all the trimmings and a few real fine
automobiles (Jag, Porsche) will set you back 5-10 Mil. Money
just doesn't go as far as it used to.

Anyway, if these guys were selling because they had lost their
faith in the future, why were they selling in 95, 96 and 97?
