Web Ratings: Netscape Slips, GeoCities Climbs Geocities.com, the community-based Web site, in May pushed into the top three most popular Web sites accessed from users' homes, according to researcher Media Metrix. Geocities replaced Netscape.com. The Netscape site slipped to fourth place. There was no change among the top ten sites, just a little position swapping, the most notable being MSN.com's dip into tenth place from eighth. AOL.com was the most popular site, drawing visits from 45.4 percent of Web users going online at home.
