Here's a post similar to my previous thoughts(from AOL)

Now that Lucent is in the fold paying royalties on the data compression patent, the next big player to fall will be US Robotics/3 Com. Like a row of dominos. Don't be silly and sell at these prices (12 5/8) cause you not only have the likelihood of more positive future announcements on licensing of the data compression patent coming, but in the 4th qt. the Microsoft arbitration award will
occur. If you own this stock, you ought to be excited. If you don't, there is only one cure -- buy now while it is still low.
