Elroy, scary but a possibilty. I don't think it happens until DSL happens, but then watch out. DSL is the next roadblock for the expansion of the Internet. The last two, for those who care, were the introduction of TCP/IP in Windows 95 and unlimited $20 Internet.

P.S. One might quibble about the actual doubling, though, because palm tops and embedded computers will probably ramp too slowly for a true annual double, at least this coming year.
