Brad & All: MPOA and MPLS were motivated by the need to solve the N square problem in Net Topology by utilizing Layer 3 info. I would like to know which of these protocols offers the best speed and QOS for an expanding NET. Further what are the relative installation and maintenance cost.? Since CSCO's MPLS embraces both Routers and Tag switches thru the Network,will they not argue that they can accommodate both circuit switch and packet switch requirements especially as these will be around for some time to come. Thx.
