Hiram, you seem to believe that the portal war is effectively over, and that Disney is the inevitable winner. From what they say for this deal, Disney is planning to make their portal one more content-centric website, much like Pathfinder, but with more timely content. Since the world's largest media company bought Capital Cities/ABC 2 1/2 years ago, ABC's ratings have fallen to fourth place behind Fox in prime time, and ABC has lost its lead in virtually every other daypart.
