Who am I you ask:
Well you see, I am former FBI; 20 years (retired). Master in Accounting, CPA: its used to be that you had to have a degree to be an agent. You do know that the Bureau makes many of its cases following the money, don't you? It helps if you know how to read and income statement and a balance sheet. Started my career in Detroit on the
Hoffa case (the original one).
Well upon retirement, I went private. Actually spent about 6-8 years working for the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation) and federal and state prosecutors putting white collar scum behind bars for treating the S&L's as their own private piggy bank, raping shareholders (and more importantly) the public alike. Really rewarding work, and it
more than paid the bills.
Would you believe, the hot area of my private practice is the investigation of securities fraud. I'm sure you've noticed the recent articles in reputable publications indicating that it has almost become an epidemic.
Just so happens that some of all my children gravitated towards the telecommunications business. I learned a lot from them and occasionally offer that knowledge on SI.
Would you like to know my current assignment. Sorry, can't talk about an investigation in progress. You know that.
