Steve, I have been referred to you from another thread.

I am seeking information regarding forced covers of short positions, i.e. where, when and how this can/does happen (both NYSE and NAZ).
Are some brokers more prone to call in a short than others?

On a related subject, what rules govern the allowance of short sales. There was (is?) a situation with KTEL where there seemed to be far more short shares sold than were available to be borrowed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
