GB, What really surprises me about the spell checker is that it gives me errors on any URL or any Internet spawned words. -g- It's sort of like not being able to spell your own last name.

So, DRAM sales are going to be UP 17.9 pct. next year. I wonder why? Unit sales may hiccup a little if folks decide they want Win (s it comin'?) 98, but even if they sucker in for that nothing system, it is not a big memory user. So, a small up in units but a continued slide in pricing with all the new, more efficient DRAM capacity that has been announced. I don't see a bright spot for the memory chip demand side of the equation until Merced. And that is a long time off.

He loves LSI and it might survive this downturn. But they are nowhere in system-on-a-chip, which is why he likes it. If you compare the LSI prototypes to those at NEC and Hitachi, LSI is not in the game.
