Chris, your comparison of the APCO and MTON charts led me to look at the small cap sector a little closer. Both stocks have held up better than most small caps. Take a look at the stocks I scanned looking for annual growth rates of at least 30%, PE ratios under 35 and share prices between 5 and 10 in the small cap sector:

Everyone will agree that there are great buys in the small caps. I'm holding APCO, CADE, AIRM etc. waiting for the market to come around.

Speaking of AIRM, take a look at this article about Red Chip's success in picking stocks:

Speaking of CADE, and that other aviation stock that the Amigos like,
careful attention should be given to industry concern over future demand. cnnfn.com
Personally, I see the Asian slowdown as a blessing for this sector. The order backlogs indicate that the sector can withstand waiting for Asia's economy to improve and extend the sector's growth for another
five to ten years .

ps Chris, you wanted to know if there were common owners in APCO and MTON. Only one that I noticed is Dimensional Fund Advisors. I don't know anything about this institution, but I've noticed that they own shares in just about every listed small cap, or so it seems.
