One suggestion is to load the driver and versions of config.sys and autoexec.bat you need to access your CD-ROM on your Windows 95 Startup floppy disk. I realize it is to late now but it does provide a way around Windows 95 Setup not liking your version of DOS. In my opinion the Windows 95 Startup floppy disk is a lot more useful when these files are added to it. With the appropriate files added to the startup floppy disk the startup floppy can be used to implement a clean install of Windows 95.
