The Dow is flawed in that it can't include MSFT. If MSFT were traded on the NYSE, it would be part of the Dow 30, so ipso facto, it could never exceed the combined value. I do agree that MSFT can't continue to double every year, but I've been anticipating the fall-off in growth for the last 3 years, and it keeps surprising me. I sold all of my MSFT last year. Boy, was that a mistake <slap to forehead>.
